Still in the vapour trails of the previous Citizen Autistic outing, June spells a return to the odd ritual of sitting in a dimly lit room among other human-shaped meat sacks to bask in the reflected glory of the silver screen with a showing of the singular, sensory sci-fi UNDER THE SKIN (2013) at 18:15 on Monday, 26 June at the BFI Southbank (NFT3)!
Titled ‘Ghosts In The Machine’, the yawning Grand Canyon chasms between perception versus reality, the complex, fluid nature of gender and identity and the Siren-like seductiveness of modern technology are among the themes hoping to be explored with this two film mini series.
This series has been curated in direct partnership between Citizen Autistic: The London Autism Film Club and those genial folk at the crucible to cinema that is The British Film Institute.
