Following on from the easygoing Sunday Barbican brunch / lunch social back in January, back by (popular?) demand is another chance for us to come together in the offline world for tea / coffee and conversation.
That in mind, on Saturday, 12 March I cordially invite you to come on down to London’s BFI Southbank from 3.30 – around 5.30, where we can all meet as a group at the BFI’s ‘Bar & Kitchen’, located on the ground floor (to the right of the main entrance).
I will be mindful of trying to find a nice comfy, cosy spot for the group to convene, though this cannot be guaranteed. checking the programme of events for that date there doesn’t appear to be any screening prior to 6 pm, so hopefully this translates in fewer people than perhaps later on.
The cafe / bar area is quite spacious with plenty of comfortable seating (sofas, armchairs, etc.) and ambient lighting:

There is a small cafe on-site serving hot and cold drinks including tea and coffee, however if you are feeling peckish, the Benugo ‘Bao House’ restaurant offers up a range of menu options, though it must be advised this is Eastern cuisine and so may not suit all tastes: https://www.benugo.com/restaurants/bfi-bar-kitchen
Failing this, there is the BFI Riverfront bar and restaurant very close by, should anyone wish to select from a different range of menu options.
Again, I look forward to welcoming you on Saturday 12 and seeing some familiar and other not so familiar faces, and feel free to bring a fellow humanoid or two as well if you fancy!
